Whether we have them or not, shopper Alexandra Moskunova told Reuters at the mall in Khovrino; “I am impartial on this. “I can live without them contentedly.” Irina Stakhanova, a different client, remarked: “I just really liked H&M and another one that I can’t recall. US Supreme Court limits federal power to curb carbon emissions - World

Image
The US Supreme Court on Thursday imposed limits on the federal government's authority to issue sweeping regulations to reduce carbon emissions from power plants in a ruling that will undermine President Joe Biden's plans to tackle climate change. The court's 6-3 ruling restricted the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) authority to regulate greenhouse gas emissions from existing coal and gas-fired power plants under the landmark Clean Air Act anti-pollution law. Biden's administration is currently working on new regulations. The court's six conservatives were in the majority in the decision authored by Chief Justice John Roberts, with the three liberals dissenting. The ruling is likely to have implications beyond the EPA as it raises new legal questions about any big decisions made by federal agencies. The Supreme Court's conservative majority has signalled ongoing scepticism toward expansive federal regulatory authority. Conservative legal acti...

The Black Sea news came as NATO leaders concluded their summit in Madrid, intent on demonstrating their unity and determination to provide advanced weapons to Kyiv in the face of Moscow’s assault. Wade. “I believe we have to codify Roe v Wade into law. And the way to do that is to make sure that Congress votes to do that. And if the filibuster gets in the way, it’s like voting rights, it should be, we provide an exception for this. The exception – the required exception of the filibuster for this action to deal with the Supreme Court decision,” Biden told reporters at a press conference in Madrid, Spain, Thursday. Pressed moments later to clarify that he was opening to changing filibuster rules for those issues, Biden said, “Right to privacy, not just abortion rights, but yes, abortion rights.” Codifying Roe v.
